Elevated on the headland between Avalon Beach and Bilgola Beach with spectacular coastal ocean views, AVALON BEACH LOOKOUT is a great beachside holiday escape.There are large decks and balconies offering 360 degree views: east and south to Bilgola beach and towards Manly; east and north to Avalon Beach and Whale Beach headland; plus west to the beautiful Barrenjoey Peninsula. We are just a short 3-5 minute walk to Bilgola Beach and ocean pool and beachside cafe; and just a 5-8 minute walk to lovely Avalon Beach and Shops.
With stylish interiors throughout, this specially designed two storey holiday home takes advantage of the Northern Sun with ocean views everywhere. The home has a warm and inviting feel. You are bathed in sunshine all day and being on the hill allows for those lovely sea breezes on hot summer days.
There are five bedrooms at AVALON BEACH LOOKOUT. The first floor comprises lounge and dining, gourmet kitchen, queen bedroom with ensuite, two other bedrooms sleeping four sharing an ensuite, plus an additional bathroom. Decks facing north, south, east and west, complete with barbecue and shade, flow from the living areas. During colder months enjoy the cosy fireplace. The second level includes an open plan living area complete with bar flowing out to an entertaining balcony, ideal for taking in the ocean panorama. The second storey also includes another queen bedroom with ensuite plus a large twin bedroom.
The well-appointed kitchen complete with loads of bench space, microwave and dishwasher, opens onto a large north facing deck with a retractable shade umbrella, barbecue and large table with chairs for lazy family meals, overlooking a gated lawn and garden. The dining room table comfortably seats 10 adjacent to the well-appointed kitchen. There two large living areas with glorious views offer plenty of seating space to laze around the 55" TV.
A short 5-8 minute stroll will find you at Avalon Village featuring cafes, restaurants, patisseries, delis, gift shops, art galleries, cinema, food shopping, clothing and home ware stores. On the other side of the hill you have access to Pittwater, a boating and fishing paradise with great still water beaches that complement the surf beaches at Bilgola and Avalon.
We are located 33kms from the Sydney CBD and close to Palm Beach. Enjoy a surf at Bilgola Beach (one of Sydney's most beautiful patrolled beaches) or a swim in the 50 metre ocean pool. Explore the peninsula with walking trails at Bilgola North and South Headlands or by bus with the transit stop a one minute walk with buses to Palm Beach, Manly and Sydney CBD. Watch the migratory whales each year throughout June and July and again from around September. Or take the short stroll to the adjacent 9-hole golf course.
