Summary: This is a classic review where one thing spoiled an entire stay. I stayed at the hotel for one night on a layover. Upon arrival the doorman broke my suitcase handle while taking it inside. I asked for it to be fixed or replaced as a big suitcase that can be pulled on its wheels in 35 degree heat is not pleasant. The manager first tried to deny any responsibility “this could have happened to you” and upon insisting told me he’d get it fixed. When I came back to inspect that, they had simply glued the handle back on but the mechanism that holds it in the extended or retracted position was broken so the handle just slide up and down and the glue will probably break on my way to the airport again. Other than that the people were nice and the hotel is the classic you get what you pay for. It is cheap and therefore not in good repair or particularly clean and the a/c didn’t work for a while either until maintenance managed to get a tiny breeze out of it at midnight. Bottom line, if you are not fussy and can carry your own luggage then this is a cheap, decent stay in a good area
