Positive: The tent was very comfortable, great bed and shower. The lodge looks brand new but has been operating for some years.The breakfast was great. There is a good menu for lunch, very reasonably priced. At night there is te possibility to have a set 3-course meal, with choice for main course. Of course there are restaurants in nearby White river or Nelspruit, but it is very convenient to just stay at the lodge. There is a nice sitting area, an area around the fire, the pool is lovely. On some nights the lodge offers a boma dinner,with local specialities. The boma setting was very romantic. The location near Kruger airport and near the botanical gardens of Mbombela/Nelspruit. The setting in a bushveld area. The possibility of game drives, spa treatments. About 45 min drive to Numbi gate Kruger.

Negative: If I have to give one criticism: the fact that there are signs telling you there will be a fine if you make too much noise/ if you visit the area outside the lodge(which is private), if you lose the room key, we’re not children…..
