THE SPACE
This studio is fully equipped to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The well-appointed kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals, featuring a full-size fridge and freezer, induction cooktop, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee press, and all essential cookware, utensils, Airfryer and tableware. A complimentary starter pack of tea and coffee is provided to help you settle in.
Enjoy meals at the dining table, complete with a comfortable sofa, Smart TV, and a small desk for working remotely or planning your next adventure.
The queen-size bed is made up with cotton linen and a comforter, with bedside tables and an open wardrobe providing convenient storage during your stay.
The studio features traditional louvre windows, allowing cooling tropical breezes to flow naturally through the space. Air conditioning and fans are also available for your comfort.
Step outside to your private terrace, where outdoor seating provides the perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, an afternoon drink, or tropical colorful sunsets.
For added convenience, the studio includes a washing machine, dryer, clothesline, and a starter supply of laundry powder.
The small bathroom features a shower, vanity, toilet, and hairdryer. A starter pack of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel is provided.
Parking is easy with your own dedicated carport with CCV, and access to the studio is via just five stairs. The complex is equipped with motion-activated lighting for added convenience and security.
Please note: While blackout blinds are installed, very light sleepers may occasionally notice light from the carport sensor lighting.
Guest access
You have full access to your studio, deck, and carport.
The rear garden and surrounding of your private terrace are undergoing a full renovation after the wet season. so we are not yet at boatanical garden level yet.
Other things to note
SThe studio is located in a quiet cul-de-sac with generally very little traffic. On days with ideal weather for reef tours or when cruise ships are in port, traffic around the nearby marina and boat ramp may increase slightly.
Although a bus stop is located just 100 metres away and public transport fares are very affordable, the journey to Cairns takes approximately 40 minutes by bus compared with around 15 minutes by car. We strongly recommend having a vehicle to explore the region and its attractions conveniently.
As the property is located in tropical North Queensland, occasional insects are a normal part of the environment. We conduct regular professional pest control treatments to minimise both crawling and flying insects.
Cairns Airport is conveniently located close to the CBD. Depending on wind conditions and flight paths, aircraft may occasionally be heard. Most guests find this infrequent and not disruptive to their stay.
Our property is currently undergoing a gradual renovation, which we are completing ourselves as a labour of love. While we make every effort to minimise disruption, the rear garden makeover is still in progress and some areas may not yet reflect our final vision.
