Positive: If you get the chance to come to the Shekhawati area then come to Nawalgargh and stay here. We stayed four nights and loved every minute of it. The things we liked in particular - the peace and quiet - the beautiful courtyard to relax in - the food! We had breakfast and dinner each day. The food is what they grow in their garden and without exception was delicious and is organic - the guided walk into the countryside, seeing some of the birdlife and agriculture - the guided tour of Nawalgargh. Dinesh is a superb guide, really informative and he showed us things we would have missed had we not been with him - the guided tour of Dundlod and of Parasrampura. Again with Dinesh as our guide. The cenotaph at Parasrampura in particular was amazing, with outstanding frescos, but inaccessible without a guide as it is tucked away behind locked gates in a small alley - cooking lessons. We've taken cooking lessons in India before and they've been ok. This experience here was hands on, from picking the ingredients in the garden to making the dishes in the kitchen. - the food stall in the market square - the samosas were delicious You'll have gathered by now that we loved Apani Dhani. We scored it 10/10 for everything and it more than deserved that
