The family lodge is now available to rent for select periods. Far from busy roads and right next to the sea, there is nothing but peaceful tranquility here. Take walks, go swimming on your own private coastline and bbq until your heart's content.
The house was built in 2020. You have all the modern compliments you could need in a cabin on an island only accessible by ferry. Wifi powered by fibre that was installed, espresso machine, TV (connect your netflix), washer/dryer, etc. The drinking water is from our well and varies in quality throughout the year but is always potable. Bottled water can be purchased at the store. Overall, the kitchen is for people who love to cook and even has a wine fridge. We enjoy baking a lot in this house.
Getting here is easy. There are (free) car ferries running nearly every 30min from the centuries old fishing village of Öregrund. The ferry takes 5min. In the summer you will find some fantastic restaurants lining the water in Öregrund. Drive from central Stockholm to the ferry takes about 1hr 45min (30min less from Arlanda Airport). The drive on the island takes another 7min from the ferry.
Please note that an extra fee is added per person with groups 6+ so to cover the extra guest house costs for hosting larger groups.
